Borough Court is based within approx 90 acres of farmland which belongs to the Bullen family.  Ed’s mother breeds event horses and has a small holding of sheep, and there is woodland to walk through which has some lovely bluebells in the Spring.

North Hampshire is conveniently located for London which is less than an hour by car and 45 mins by train, which from our local stations (Winchfield/Hook) go directly in Waterloo station.  We are also less than 30 minutes from the South Downs, the historical City of Winchester (which was the original capital city in the UK before London) and 45 minutes from Stone Henge (one of the seven ancient wonders of the world).

The south downs and the south coast are easily locatable from here, as well as the Isle of Wight; including ferry terminals for France from Portsmouth and Southampton, both of which are nearby.

On a more local basis we have many pubs and restaurants in neighbouring villages so there are some lovely, charming places for lunch/dinner.  Basingstoke, Reading and Newbury are within 20-30 minutes drive, so we are very conveniently located for business people who might be looking for a night or two’s accommodation.
